Active Cause Previews Mobile App Update for Members and Advisory Teams

By Active Cause Editorial Team

Los Angeles, CA – February 6, 2026

Active Cause previewed an upcoming mobile app update offering members and their advisory teams new tools designed to integrate philanthropy more directly into career strategy, representation, and long-term legacy planning.

The update reflects a broader shift across sport, music, fashion, and entertainment: philanthropy is no longer an afterthought. It is increasingly embedded in contract negotiations, brand partnerships, reputational risk management, and wealth planning.

Built for Members and the Teams That Represent Them

While Active Cause serves athletes, creatives, and entertainers, the app update explicitly acknowledges the role of agents, talent managers, brand advisors, attorneys, and family offices in shaping how philanthropic decisions are made and executed.

Rather than forcing philanthropy to live outside existing advisory workflows, the platform sits alongside the same systems that govern careers, endorsements, and financial planning. The app provides structure, transparency, and accountability to decisions that have historically been informal or reactive.

“Philanthropy has already entered the room for most talent, it just hasn’t had proper infrastructure,” said Yonis Hassan, Co-Founder of Active Cause.

“We’re building tools that allow members and their teams to treat giving with the same level of intention, foresight, and discipline as the rest of their careers.”

Product Enhancements

The preview highlights several enhancements designed to support both members and advisors:

Fund and Grant Management enables members and authorized advisors to view balances across multiple funds, track lifetime giving, monitor annual disbursement progress, and review grant history in real time. This helps support compliance, planning, and long-term accountability.

Campaign Creation allows members and their teams to create and manage fundraising initiatives tied to moments that matter including tours, seasons, releases, partnerships, or cultural milestones, without relying on public crowdfunding platforms or fragmented tools.

Advisor Access and Permissions enables members to securely invite advisors into the platform, assign role-based permissions, and collaborate transparently. This allows agents, managers, attorneys, and family offices to support philanthropic activity without assuming custody or control of funds.

Charity Discovery and Grant Execution provides integrated nonprofit search and grant submission tools enabling informed decision-making, due diligence, and efficient execution. This helps reduce administrative burden for both members and advisory teams.

Community and Gatherings improves access to Active Gatherings, allowing members to view upcoming cultural convenings, RSVP, and stay connected to a peer network operating at the intersection of culture, capital, and impact.

From Passive Reacting to Proactive Infrastructure

Unlike public donation apps or brand-led cause campaigns, Active Cause is built as private philanthropic infrastructure. The platform prioritizes discretion, clarity, and long-term outcomes over visibility or performance.

For agents, managers, and brand advisors, the app provides a structured way to integrate philanthropy into career and brand strategy, reduce reputational and compliance risk, move beyond reactive or performative giving, and support clients in building credible, durable impact.

The app update complements Active Cause’s broader ecosystem, including Active Gatherings, private convenings hosted during major cultural and legacy weekends.

The mobile app update is currently in preview and will roll out to members in phases.

Additional features and refinements will be announced ahead of full release.
