Paris Fashion Week Becomes a Hub for Creative Philanthropy as Cultural Leaders Gather with Active Cause, ColorsxStudios & Kid Super

By Active Cause Editorial Team

Paris, France – June 26, 2025

Active Cause partnered with Color Studios and Kid Super to host a philanthropic dinner during Paris Fashion Week, bringing together artists, designers, and cultural leaders for an Active Gathering focused on strategic giving. Guests included Saint Levant, Odeal, French Montana, Destin Conrad, and other creatives navigating the intersection of cultural influence and social impact.

The dinner, held during one of fashion’s most concentrated cultural moments, exemplified Active Cause’s Gatherings model: intimate, trust-based convenings that equip high-earning creatives with practical tools for sustained philanthropy.

Active Cause gatherings are designed to build long-term philanthropic infrastructure within the creative economy, connecting cultural leaders with structured social impact strategies.

The format prioritized education and peer learning over visibility, with closed-door conversations about donor-advised fund structures, international giving, and long-term impact strategies.

“Paris Fashion Week puts designers, musicians, and cultural executives in the same city at the same time,” said the Active Cause Co-Founder, Yonis Hassan. “We’re creating the rooms where they can have the conversations about giving that don’t happen at the shows or the parties.”

Why Color Studios and Kid Super

Color Studios, a creative studio and production company, and Kid Super, the Brooklyn-based artist and designer brand, share Active Cause’s commitment to building infrastructure inside culture rather than adjacent to it. Both organizations work at the intersection of creativity and community impact, making them natural partners for a Gathering designed to turn influence into action.

The collaboration brought together participants from music, fashion, visual arts, and entertainment. The participants shared challenges around irregular income, public pressure to give, and limited access to practical philanthropic education. Conversations focused on structures that work for project-based earnings, privacy concerns around public giving, and strategies for supporting international communities.

Active Gatherings Model

Active Cause Gatherings take place 24–48 hours before or after major cultural weekends when artists, athletes, and executives are already in the same city. Each Gathering is limited to 25–60 participants and structured around practical education, peer-to-peer learning, and clear next steps tracked at 30 and 90 days.

The model addresses a gap in traditional philanthropy events, which often optimize for visibility and immediate fundraising rather than long-term infrastructure. Active Gatherings prioritize tools over optics, equipping participants to build sustainable giving practices aligned with compressed earning windows and complex income structures.

Following previous Gatherings, participants have opened donor-advised funds, committed capital to pooled vehicles, and built partnerships that extend beyond single events. The Paris Fashion Week dinner continues that approach, with follow-up planned to track actual outcomes rather than just attendance.

What’s Next

Active Cause will host additional Gatherings throughout 2025 in cities including New York, Los Angeles, London, Miami, and Atlanta, timed to major cultural moments including music festivals, sports championships, and fashion weeks.

Participation in Active Gatherings is by invitation and based on demonstrated commitment to learning rather than wealth level or public profile. Active Cause prioritizes diversity across geography, industry, gender, and career stage.
